Isaac Schultz is a science writer for Gizmodo.

Before that, he was the 2019-2020 editorial fellow at Atlas Obscura, where he wrote about archaeology, ecology, and that which generally sparks wonder. He is a 2019 Columbia Journalism School graduate and a Rice University alum.

He's interested in science journalism. He likes data, animals and all things ancient. When not writing or reading the latest research, he's busy in Python, R, and QGIS.
